Victor Gerald
Davila
May 15, 1956 – April 10, 2026
Victor Gerald Davila, known lovingly by his family as Jerry, passed away on April 10, 2026, at the age of 69.
Victor was born on May 18, 1956, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Victor and Billie (Mankins) Davila. A proud 1974 graduate of Western Heights High School, he was a valued player on the football team and a friend to many. After high school, he briefly attended the University of Oklahoma.
Victor worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone throughout his twenties and later moved to Denver, Colorado, where he worked for Mountain Bell Telephone and as a real estate agent for Re-Max. He was an avid snow skier and embraced the beauty of the outdoors. In the mid-2000s, Victor returned to Oklahoma to be closer to his family. He was a lover of dogs and even worked as a dog trainer for a short time. He was a car enthusiast and loved bicycling. He was also a collector of “junk”.
Music was more than a pastime for Victor, it was a lifelong passion and a thread that connected him deeply with others. He shared a special bond with friends through the music they grew up on, traveling together to see legendary artists like Paul McCartney and Pink Floyd perform live. Whether attending concerts or sharing songs over the phone and online, music remained a meaningful and joyful part of his life up until the very end.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Billie Davila, and his aunt, Sherree Lynn-Hobbs Ingle.
He is survived by his cousin, Shaunna Hinshaw. Victor will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
A private celebration of life will be held by his immediate family.
