February 25,1936 – July 19, 2019

Passed away after a short courageous battle with cancer in the arms of his beautiful wife Judie Siria and loving family.

Tom was born in Kentucky, received a BS from OSU. He had an illustrious career in three different branches of the military. He served with distinction in the United States Navy. At the age of 20 he went with Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd, Jr, serving on an ice cutter to the Artic. He also served with distinction in the United States Army and the United States Air Force, when in 1980 he was on the crew of a B52 that flew nonstop around the world. He was an instrumental part of the engineering team that designed the nuclear hardness for the B52 and Air Force One. Before retiring from the Air National Guard as Chief Master Sergeant he went with the Navy Seals as part of a classified mission. Tom continued his commitment to government service and retired from the FAA as a GS 14. He was a Mason and a Shriner and loved driving Children to the Shriners hospital. He was also a Member of the Gray Eagles.

His love of life and adventure will live on with his beautiful wife Judie of 61 years, Daughter Lisa and Jim Tolleson, Son James and Lisa Siria, Daughter Vickie and Douglas Anderson, Daughter Merry and Clark Speicher, Daughter Stacey Siria, Son Jason Siria. Sister MaryAnne and Don Bassett, sister Thea and Chris Spatz, brother Butch and Sue Siria.   He had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren Adam Smith, James and Annie Smith, Jessica Wilkens, Nathanial Gray, Danielle and Wayland Thomas, Joel and Mary Siria, Jason and Jennifer Bodin, Nathan and Caitlin Speicher, Brittney and Angelo Paladino, Kala Anderson, and Kylan Siria. He was an Uncle to many and enjoyed having special time with all his nieces and nephews.
