This man was a lover of life.  Todd didn’t just live life, he squeezed every drop out of it.   Todd’s journey started on December 11, 1963 in Oakland, CA at the US Naval Hospital with his parents John and Wanda Clark.   He lived a rambunctious childhoood living in Ohio, New Jersey, California and Texas to name a few.  He shared life with four other siblings, John, Jim, Christina and Carron and 2 cousins that were more like brothers, Ric and Neal.  This created the Clark Clan.  Once he left home and married, he was blessed with his first Baby Girl, Desiree’.   He was so proud to be a father.

Todd always had a patriotic heart and when he had the opportunity, he joined the United States Army.  In 1984 he enlisted and was able to travel the world in our sevice and landed in Hawaii for his assigned station.  Todd loved Hawaii and always said he left a little of his heart there.    Todd was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and served as an MP (Military Police) Officer and an Investigations Officer.   He earned several accommodations and medals.  The discipline and patriotism he learned with the Army never left him.

Todd’s journey took him to Alabama and he spent the next fifteen years in the Anniston area.  He became a Police Officer for the City of Anniston.  His journey continued in Alabama where he started a construction and remodeling company, building and remodeling homes.  Todd was so creative and always designing, creating and building new things.  He was a craftsman with a God given talent for cabinetry and millwork.  His finished products were beautiful because he was a perfectionist.   Todd’s second baby girl, Taylor Hope was born and shortly after came his son, John Austin.

In 1999 Todd had a life changing twenty-five foot fall that permanently left him disabled.  But with Todd’s true grit, he didn’t let that slow him down.  He attended Jacksonville State and obtained his Associates Degree.  Wanting to be closer to his family, he then moved to Arkansas and then to Oklahoma.

On April Fool’s Day, 2005 he met his future wife, Sherri Clark.  They were married on the University of Oklahoma Campus on May 27, 2007.  Being a die-hard Texas Longhorn’s fan, you knew he really loved this woman to sanctify their marriage in OU Territory.   He also gained his last daughter, Hillary Paige when he and Sherri blended their families.   Todd made sure they lived a spontaneous life filled to the brim with laughter, craziness and love.  Todd owned Clark’s Complete Handyman Services where Todd would say, “We do the Honey-do’s your Honey don’t!”.   He took pride in his work, always striving to satisfy his customers, but mostly he would become fast friends with each of them.   Grandchildren then began coming with Aiden, Kaylee and Harper.  He loved his grandkids and he loved being Grandpa and Papa-T.  Todd worked hard, traveled a little and enjoyed every minute of their crazy life.

Todd was a lover of people.  He would talk to anyone and with his huge generous spirit, if he ever met someone in need, he would make sure he did all he could to help.   His heart was with the needs of children.  He had a passion to help any child in need.

Todd became a 32nd Degree Master Mason and was initiated at Siloam Lodge in Oklahoma City.  He also was a member of the Scottish Rite, York Rite, Knights Templar and India Shrine where he was a member of the Provost Guard Unit.   Being a Shriner was his purpose.  He would partner with Dad Bill Wise and transport Shriner’s Hospital patients to the Shriner’s Hospitals in Shreveport, Galveston, Houston and St. Louis.   He loved being a Shriner and he loved his “kids”.

He also served his community through the Surrey Hills Lion’s Club and the Warr Acres American Legion Post 12.

Todd was a great man.  A man of integrity.  A man of character.   And he was so loved.

Todd is survived by his wife, Sherri Clark, their four children, Desiree Sellars, Hillary Sheehan and husband Chris, Taylor Beasley and husband Josh and Austin Clark.  He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Aiden Smith, Kaylee Sheehan and Harper Sheehan.

He is also survived by his siblings, John Clark and wife Carrie, Jim Clark and wife Debbie, Christina Clark and husband Gary, Carron Burnett and husband Rex and Neal McDonald.   He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Darrell Clark Sr., his mother, Wanda Faye Dickerson and brother Ric Tallon.
