Sheron Lea Noe, 69, of Connerville, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Sheron was surrounded by many loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Sheron was born on November 20, 1952 to James Steele Todd and Sarah Jean Todd in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After Sheron graduated from Langley High School in 1970, she followed her heart and moved to California. After relocating to California, mom attended a small local community college where she graduated top in her class within 6 months with her Computer Programming Certification. She started her IT career at Western Gear Corporation and worked there for 15 years. Sheron then went to work at Mitsubishi to further her career objectives within IT for 8 years.
In 1983, Sheron met Jack Noe in California at Western Gear Corporation. After several dates they married on August 22, 1987. Sheron and Jack went on to adopt 1 child, George Noe in 1996. Sheron, Jack and George continued to live in California until 1997 after Jack spent 35 years at Western Gear Corporation. The family moved to Konawa, Oklahoma to kickstart their midwestern dream of being ranchers. After a few years of keeping up the household and doing yard work, mom got bored and decided it would be best that she go back to work where she began a 22 year career with Prepaid Legal in Ada, Oklahoma working within the IT department. After living in Konawa, Oklahoma for 16 years, Jack and Sheron built their dream home in 2013 along Blue River in Connerville, Oklahoma.
Sheron spent her time enjoying the serene views and sounds from Blue River, playing with her dogs, cats and spending as much time with her family and friends. Sheron enjoyed planning family get togethers, reunions and especially loved taking all of the family pictures. Sheron was an avid shopper and this was evident because of the tags still left on her clothes. Though she hadn’t retired, she never thought of work as work. She really enjoyed her days in the office at Prepaid Legal, because of her work family.
Sheron was preceded in death by her mother and father, James and Sarah Todd and 2 sisters, Kathy Volk (Todd) and Debra Coughenour (Todd). She is survived by her husband, Jack Noe and son, George Noe and his spouse John Noe as well as a nephew that was more like a son, Todd Volk and his wife Nicole Volk along with their 2 beautiful daughters, Abbygail Volk and Aubree Volk. Sheron is survived by many cousins whom she loved very much.
A memorial ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 1st, 2022 at 11:30 AM at her favorite spot along Blue River in Connerville, Oklahoma, followed by a reception at the local Connerville, Oklahoma Senior Community Center at 6700 N Hwy 377, Connerville OK 74836.
