Sharon Brown, 86, departed this earth to be with the Lord on July 25, 2026. She passed away peacefully at Spanish Cove Retirement Village with her family by her side. She was born April 11, 1940, in Anadarko, OK. Sharon attended high school in Ft. Cobb, graduating in 1958. While in high school, Sharon loved playing the piano and won several competitions. After high school, Sharon followed in her father’s footsteps and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy in 1962. She worked for many years and retired from the pharmacy at Baptist Hospital in OKC, OK.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Bill Brown, who passed away in 2014. After Sharon retired, the couple relocated to Indiantown, FL, where they spent many happy years in a retirement community near Bill’s two sisters. Later they returned to family in the OKC area.

Sharon is survived by her son, John LaRoye Williams, and extended family members including Debbie and Benny Hughes, Sylvia Brown, Rosie Brown, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by the father of her son, Freddie L. Williams.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Aug. 5, 2026 (Wed.) at 10:00 am at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Yukon, OK. A private graveside service for the family will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice.
