Scotty Lee Williams

Scotty Lee Williams passed away unexpectedly from heart failure in Edmond, Oklahoma on November 4th, 2021 at the age of 50.

He is predeceased by his Father Mickey Williams and his Mother Melissa Kim Hucks, Grandparents Preston & Mary Williams, Orval Jarman and Audrey & Richard Harvey, Grandfather John Hucks and Nephew Jakob Norman.

Scotty is survived by his wife Raychel Williams and is lovingly remembered by his daughter Lily Williams of Oklahoma City.  He is also survived by his step -mother Susan Haigood of Pauls Valley, brother Shane Weatherford of Pauls Valley, sisters Stacy Williams of Oklahoma City and Alissa R. Williams of Oklahoma City, grandmother Nita Jarman of Pauls Valley and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Scotty was born August 19th, 1971 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. He graduated from Pauls Valley High School in 1989.

Growing up Scotty lived to play outside, riding motorcycles and bicycles, fishing, playing on “the backroad” watching scary movies and playing Monopoly when his Dad agreed to pull the game board out. He was very protective of his little sisters. He also loved to jump out and scare his family members.

He worked as a chef for many years of his life and was an excellent cook. He loved to cook for people and stand back to watch them enjoy his culinary creation. He also worked installing wood floors and as a master carpenter for the last 15 years.

Scotty enjoyed music and going to concerts, camping and visiting the Chickasaw National Park in Sulphur, Oklahoma to jump off the cliffs of Little Niagra into the icy cold water. He was a faithful husband, father, brother and friend to so many and will be deeply missed and revered.

He worked hard for his family and everything he did was in the interest of his most precious possession, his daughter Lily. He made sure that she had all of things that she needed and wanted but more importantly, he showered her with his undying love. They had an incredibly close bond and his adoration of his daughter was apparent in everything he did. Scotty will live on through his daughter not only in appearance but also in the values he has instilled in her.

The Celebration of Life for Scotty will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at the Will Rogers Ed Lycan Conservatory located at 3400 NW 36th Street in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – Cyndi Lu Daniels officiating.
