Ross Anthony Geier

Celebration of Life for Ross will be held Friday, December 17^th, 2021 at Salem United Methodist Church 517 Ave E in Bushton, KS at 2:00pm. Inurnment will be announced at a later date.

On Wednesday, December 3^rd, 1980, in Garden City, KS a legend was born, the Ross Anthony Geier. Born to Janie (Wimmer) and Richard James Geier, he was the youngest of 3 siblings, Jamie and Eric, as life happened around him, his family grew and in 1986, Janie met Dan “Digger” Wimmer, and he welcomed 3 additional siblings, DJ, Josh and Leisha, it didn’t stop there, and in 1988 Richard met Ellen, and welcomed sibling Casey. As this family blended, Ross was able to enjoy having brothers big and little to make memories with, and of course more people Ross could make laugh, oh how he laughed and joked, his smile was infectious, his jokes came at the most perfect moments, and what caught Sarah’s eye when they met in Stockton, CA in March of 2005, and welcomed Gabriel as his own, and in 2007 Ross and Sarah welcomed Kason James, and of course because two wasn’t enough, in 2010 Richard Wyatt was born. Ross enjoyed so many things in life, especially them Kansas City Chiefs and KU basketball, but nothing beat being a father, watching him nurture his boys, and teach them how to be gentlemen, gave him joy.  December 7^th, 2021 at 5:24 am in Ponca City, OK, Ross Anthony Geier left us here on earth and was welcomed by his father Richard Geier, mother Janie Wimmer, brothers Eric Geier and Casey Gillespie, at the gates of heaven, oh how he must have joked with them the moment he arrived, Ross leaves behind his soulmate Sarah, 3 boys, Gabriel (Kenley), Kason and Richard, Grandchildren Dre and Evelyn, brother Jamie (Amanda) Martinez and their children Brevan, Gabby,  Kenzi of Scott City, KS, brother Dan (Missy) Wimmer and their children Dillon, Mason, Zoe of Bushton, KS, brother Josh (Kayla) Wimmer and their children Jaelynn, Madison, Remington of Bushton, KS, sister Leisha (James) Decker and their children Seana, Azelin, Benton, Wyatt of Claflin, KS.  Ross was loved by many, Aunts, Uncles, Lifelong friendships that turned into family, bonds that will not ever be broken, he was a man with so much charisma, so much life, our family will never understand why Ross was taken at the young age of 41, but we are blessed to have had him.
