Dr. Ronald Gene Kilian died in his home on Saturday, July 6th, at age 70.
Ron was born September 17th, 1953, in Gettysburg, SD, where he grew up and spent his childhood hunting and fishing with his Dad, uncles, and cousins. He enlisted in the Navy in 1973 and was honorably discharged in 1977. Ron met his wife, Deena Kay Carter, at Palmer College, and they were married in September 1982. Drs. Ronald and Deena Kilian graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, in 1983.
Ron enjoyed his retirement years in Oklahoma City, OK, where his reputation of kindness was known throughout his church and community. He always looked forward to spending time with his children, and grandchildren and being a part of the Blummer family gatherings.
Ronald Kilian was preceded in death by his wife, Deena Kilian, in 1995; his father, Harry Kilian, in 1996; and his mother, Shirley Kilian, in 1999.
Survivors include his children: Tavis (Lori Beireis) Kilian of Bend, OR; Clayton (Heather) Kilian of Port Orchard, WA; Celine (Benjamin) Blummer of Oklahoma City, OK; Kierra (Seth) Henderson of Fenton, MI; and Evan Kilian from Tulsa, OK; grandchildren T.J. Kilian, Addison Kilian, Stone Henderson, Sage Henderson, and Charli Kilian; siblings: Ryan Kilian, Julie Kilian-Otten, Joanne Randall, and Juanita Kilian.
