Robert Dale Richards

Robert Dale Richards passed from this life at the age of 50 on July 31, 2022. Robert was born January 19,1972 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is the son of Merle Dale Richards & Iva Joy (Watson). He grew up in Oklahoma City, going to high school at Capitol Hill High. Robert’s dad, Merle, taught Robby how to work on cars. This talent/skill was something that Robby passed down to his son Brandon. Later in life, Robby and his son started a fabrication and rebuild shop in a joint LLC venture. When Robby wasn’t working on cars or spending time with his son, Robby loved going to the lake enjoying all the water sports that came with being at the lake. Robby was also a prankster. He loved playing pranks on friends and family but he really enjoyed getting his sisters.  He had an infectious grin that was unique to his personality.  Robby’s amazing laugh will always be remembered and cherished. Robby faced many troubles and struggles throughout his life. In the last year Robby has been working recovery, overcoming many hurdles.  Robby was a devoted father to Brandon.

Robert Dale Richards was preceded in death by his parents Merle Dale Richards & Iva Joy (Watson). Robert is survived by: One son, Brandon Lee Richards of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Two sisters; Judy Bond and husband Dean of Tuttle, Oklahoma,  Rebecca Richards and partner Kim Kelly of Tupelo, Mississippi, Two nephews; Jeremy Bond & Rivers Bond of Moore, Oklahoma. Numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends. Robert was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
