- Born on Dec. 2, 1933. Bob grew up in California, moved to Edmond, OK in 1994. Bob lived a life defined by service, ingenuity, and boundless determination. A pilot in the U.S. Air Force, retired after serving 20 years. After retiring from the Air Force he became an owner/operator of a flight school, he then entered public service to safeguard our skies with the FAA where he then retired. Bob never believed in limitations. He was a master of turning scrap into function, he invented the Acoustic Handle, for fly fishing and many other things. A gifted inventor, instructor, and thinker, Bob leaves behind a legacy of curiosity, grit, and brilliance.
- He peacefully passed on Saturday, June 28th. Graveside services will be held at Ft. Sill Nat. Cemetery on July 10, at 11:00 a.m.
- Bob is survived by his daughter Susan of Co., son Mike and wife Sandra of CA, son Art and wife Donna of Edmond, and son Robert and wife Heather of Tulsa. 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
