Ricky Wayne Mckibbin

Ricky Wayne McKibbin, 68, of Wewoka, Oklahoma, passed away on December 7, 2022 after many years with a wonderful woman that he loved dearly.

Rick was born on September 28, 1954 to Eugene Lowell McKibbin and Mary Lee McKibbin (Delaney) in Andrews, Texas. After Rick graduated from New Lima High School in 1972, he worked as a telephone line repairman for a few phone companies before finally settling into being a commercial electrician. He was always one to work hard for his family in order to make sure that they had what was needed.

On July 4, 1996, Rick met Sadonna Melton in Wewoka, Oklahoma after being introduced through a mutual friend. I think she was blinded by his charm because they fit together so perfectly that they married on October 18, 1996 and would go on to spend a beautiful 26 years of life and love together. Although Rick and Sadonna did not have children together, Sadonna gracefully stepped into the role of mother and grandmother.

Rick was predeceased by his father Eugene Lowell Mckibbin, mother Mary Lee McKibbin (Delaney), and brother Eugene Lowell McKibbin Skidmore. He is survived by his wife Sadonna McKibbin of the home, Daughter Sheri Lyn McKibbin of Hawthorne, NV, Granddaughter Iva Hilton of Seminole, OK, Austin Hilton of Seminole, OK, and Michael and Skyelar Belzer of Hawthorne, NV. Along with 6 great grandkids, Kay’dence, Gabriel, Rae’Lynn, Cai’sten, Eldon, and Karl.
