Randy Miller, 66, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on December 6, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Randy was a true jack-of-all-trades who spent his life working hard and helping where he was needed most. Before retiring, he most recently worked in maintenance—a role that fit his hands-on spirit and resourceful nature. He was rough around the edges in all the best ways—straightforward, loyal, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Randy was a lover of Sooner football, had a heart for others, and held a deep love for the outdoors. Whether tending to his garden, woodworking, or painting anything he could find “just the right shade of brown,” he found peace and happiness under an open sky.
Family will fondly remember holiday poker nights, camping trips to McGee Creek, the legendary snacks he always brought along, and special conjoined birthday celebrations with his granddaughter Ava. He proudly passed along hard-earned life lessons to his grandkids—how to work, how to stay tough, and, most importantly, how to make the muddiest of mud pies.
He is survived by his children: Rashonda Miller of Norman; Randall Miller and wife, Angie, of Noble; and Racheal Jones and husband, Jake, of Norman; as well as nine beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Russell Miller and wife, Alissa, and Robert Miller and wife, Penny, along with many extended family members and lifelong friends who will miss him dearly.
Randy was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Rhonda Dobbs; his parents, Raymond and Ruth Miller; and siblings Ronnie, Dale, Roxie, Rebecca, Rita, Rhonda, and Renny.
Randy lived fully, loved deeply, and left a legacy of strength, humor, and generosity. His story continues in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
