Phyllis R. Oxley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on January 22, 2021. She was born on January 3, 1935, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Oxley and her parents Philip and Sylvia Nixon and sister Betty Bledsoe. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jean Ann and Andy Hawley and grandson’s Andrew, Matthew J. and great grandson Matthew D. Hawley and sister Loretta and husband Dale Trumbo and their children Chris, Tracy and Terri of Colorado. Her nephew’s and niece Jim, Robert and Ron Bledsoe and Beverly Borwick.
Phyllis loved her family dearly and enjoyed attending the Fellowship Sunday School Class and church services at Bethany First Church. She loved going back to Colorado to visit family during her vacations. She also loved riding motorcycles. She spent 30 years in the Pharmacy Business as a Pharmacy Tech. She retired from the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
A Memorial Service with her family will be planned for the Summer of 2021, in her home state of Colorado.
