Pauline “Polly” Juletta Wilder, 71 of Norman, Oklahoma, formerly of Monett, Missouri passed away April 1, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Polly was born January 8, 1944 in Fort Smith, Arkansas and is the daughter of the late William Allen Morrow & Virgie Lee (LaRue) Morrow. She is survived by her daughter Traci Denise Wimer and husband Tad of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, three grandchildren: Natalie Dawn Wimer, Brooke Michelle Wimer and Harrison Tad Wimer; brother Dennis Morrow of Stillwater, Oklahoma, sisters: Norma Cress of Joplin, Missouri and Frances Rush of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and a step-daughter Pamela Wilder-McDonough of Joplin, Missouri and her children: Erick McDonough, Joplin, Missourt, Misty McDonough-Bailey of Webb City, Missouri and Krystal McDonough-Holt of Webb City, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband James R. Wilder, daughter Carmela Yvonne Ellixson of Norman, Oklahoma, and a sister Wanda Barrett of Duncan, Oklahoma. Polly loved to cross-stitch, quilt, cook, read and garden. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt as well as a longtime cashier at the Homeland grocery store (formerly Albertsons) at 36th and Robinson in Norman, Oklahoma.
A private memorial service for Pauline “Polly” Juletta Wilder will be held in her honor this summer in Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you consider making a donation in Paula’s name to the charity of your choice.
