Nicole Suzanne Marcott

• Nicole Suzanne Marcott began rejoicing in heaven on July 29, 2026. Nicole was born on October 14, 1959, to Bill F. and Ramona F. Fisher, at Fairchild AFB in Spokane, Washington. As an Air Force family, they lived in many places during Nicole’s youth, including Ramey AFB, Puerto Rico; Clinton Sherman AFB, Burns Flat, Oklahoma; Grissom AFB, Bunker Hill, Indiana; and KI Sawyer AFB, Gwinn, Michigan. She enjoyed the adventures of the many places she lived, but especially loved the snow in northern Michigan and nature’s beauty. She graduated from Gwinn High School in 1977. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she met her husband, Marvin. They were married on June 16, 1984. Nicole worked at Local Federal Saving and Loan for many years. She worked from home for a time doing medical transcriptions for Dr. Thomas Ewing. She also worked at the Oklahoma Sooners for Christ Outreach Center, where she was known as “Momma Nicole.” She blessed many students with her loving, caring spirit.

•  Nicole had many interests. Creative and imaginative, she had a spunky energy reflected in her unique wardrobe style. She loved music, whether by listening, playing the clarinet, or singing with her sisters, including many songs from Broadway musicals. She enjoyed harmonizing on songs. In addition, Nicole was an avid OU Sooners football fan. Other interests were swimming, boating, crafting, and celebrating holidays of any kind, especially Christmas. She spent many years as a Sunday school teacher at the Alameda Church of Christ in Norman, Oklahoma.

• Despite these achievements, her greatest love was being a wife to Marvin and a mother to her two sons, Todd and Brett. She devoted the majority of her life’s efforts to them. She was dearly loved by her entire family. Nicole was a uniquely warm, loving, and compassionate person who made everyone around her feel uniquely special, important, and unconditionally loved. She possessed a natural gift for calming anxiety, offering encouragement, and lifting others up through her laughter, humor, and joy for life. She loved fiercely within her circle of family and close friends, leaving a lasting, cherished impact on all who knew her.

• Nicole is survived by her husband of 42 years, Marvin Edward Marcott; her son, Marvin Todd Marcott and wife, Courtney Montgomery; her son, Nicholas Brett Marcott, and wife, Jiwon Kim; her granddaughter, Rory Kim; her grandson, Aiden Marcott; sister, Billeta Lee and husband, Mike; sister, Sonja Sipe, and husband Phil; and numerous beloved aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
