Michael Lundstrom

Michael Lundstrom (55) of Moore OK, passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 28, 2020, surrounded by his children.

Michael was born on August 7, 1965 to Betty Jean Lundstrom, in Rockford IL. After dropping out of school in the 10^th grade, he found work as a carpenter.  He continued this trade for the next 20-odd years and would constantly point out building he built and tell you all about them whether you asked him or not. He married former wife Tracy Sellars and had two children with her. After legally separating in 1988 he married former wife Joanne (Jenner) Lundstrom and had another son. After peacefully parting ways with his Joanne, he spent the last years of his life with his loving and dedicated partner Stacie Blackwood.

Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Mike managed his illness with strength and grace. He held his family in high regard and spent as much time with his loved ones as possible.

He was an OU fan and many a fall weekend he could be found sitting in his den, beer in hand, arguing with the TV (usually in a humorous dad way). He was also very fond of Backgammon and would have wars for hours on end (with anyone who would dare challenge the master) winning, losing, and talking smack the whole time.

Mike is lovingly survived by son Nicholas Lundstrom and wife Savelle; daughter Sammi Williams and husband Stevie: son Devin Lundstrom and partner Hannah; son Robert Jenner; mother Betty Jean Lundstrom; brothers Steve and Adam Lundstrom; sister Mary Jo Covarrubias; as well as several grandchildren. He is preceded in death by ex-wife (of 20 years) Joann Lundstrom.

He will be forever in our hearts and be remembered with smiles and happy memories.
