Matthew Alexander Willbanks,33, passed from this life on August 9th, 2026, in Cleveland County Oklahoma.

He was born on December 18th, 1992, in Dallas, TX to Heather Hendrix Kramer and Chad Covington, as well as, his adoptive parents Mike Willbanks and Karen Farrell.

Matthew will be remembered for his kind and gentle heart, playful sense of humor, compassion for animals, and his desire for, and love of, family. He enjoyed music, basketball, and was an avid OSU fan. Above all, he loved his son, Maddox. Though his time as a father was heartbreakingly brief, the love he held for him remains.

Matthew leaves behind family and friends who loved him deeply and know that his struggles in life did not define him or his worth. His time with us was far too short, but his memory will endure.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, at 2pm at Grace Church – Episcopal in Yukon, OK. His ashes will be interred in the church’s columbarium.
