Loretta Ann Herring age 74 of Newalla, Oklahoma passed away on May 29, 2022. She was the beloved daughter of Samuel and Edith Wilhelm (Barton). Born in Marlow, Oklahoma on December 7, 1948. Loretta attended high school in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She meet and married James Ray Herring they were married for many years before his passing. They retired in Porum, Oklahoma. Loretta enjoyed family gatherings, cookbooks & recipes, cooking for her family was a treasured past time, Outdoor activities, gardening, animals, bingo, crosswords puzzles and slot machines is where she spent a lot of her free time to relax and get away. Later in life you could find her doing volunteer work with the VFW Auxiliary (Eufaula, Oklahoma) and helping other’s whenever possible. Family and friends meant the world to her.

Loretta Ann Herring is preceded in death by her parents and husband. Loretta is survived by her son Robert Bissette (Tonya), daughter LeeAnn South, Partner, Lonnie Johnson, his daughter Wilma Johnson, her grandchildren, Christopher Stovall, Lillyann Faith Breeden and Christa South, 5 great-grandchildren, brother and sisters Ella May Patterson, Samuel Wilhelm, Shirley Orsburn, Also survived by several nieces and nephews and friends in Oklahoma City, Midwest City, and Marlow, Oklahoma

Burial Service/Memorial Service will be held at Fort Gibson National Cemetery
