Levi A. Tucker

There is no Night without a dawning, No Winter without a Spring. And beyond Death’s dark horizon, Our Hearts once more will sing. For those who leave us for a while, Have only gone away. Out of a restless, careworn World,

Into a Brighter Day!

Levi, affectionately known as “Bumpsey” by his mother Lillian was born on March 18, 1937 in Washington D.C. to Matthew and Lillian Tucker. Levi departed this life on October 11, 2019.

He was a son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Many will remember that Levi loved to laugh and enjoyed making people laugh. When he hummed, you could hear it for miles. His entrepreneur spirit led him to start his own construction company in his early years. He carried his love for building houses throughout his entire life.

Levi leaves to mourn, Joan, his children: Lisa, Kelley, Kevin, Tarsha, Chevelle, Michael, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Levi was preceded in death by his parents Matthew and Lillian, sister “Tootsie” and daughter Tammy.

May God grant him peace for he has earned His favor for everlasting rest.
