Kevin Edward Wallace

Kevin Edward Wallace was born on July 1, 1968, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Larry and Janice Wallace. As a child, he greatly enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending summers at the lake. He once had the privilege of racing in the Houston Astrodome, which became one of his fondest memories. He would spend his time running around outside with the neighborhood kids and his sister as well. He married the love of his life on June 12, 1987, and went on to raise two children together, being married for 36 years. As a father, he enjoyed mentoring and coaching his children through all their various activities and spending time watching television together as a family. His ultimate goal in life was to raise his children to be better than himself. In his later years, he was an avid poker player. He appeared in the world series of poker twice and would also win a sizeable tournament in Las Vegas. He also enjoyed his weekly family game nights. He was able to visit Graceland, a bucket list item, with his entire family, describing it as the best vacation he ever had. Throughout his life, he felt there was never a bad time to have a laugh, often creating those laughs with his witty sarcasm and off-the-cuff one-liners. If he had one piece of advice to give to everyone, it would be to live life as he did: to the fullest. Kevin passed away on March 5, 2024, after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Barbara, children Ashley and Brock (wife Brooklynn), sister Renae, and father Larry. He is preceded in death by his mother Janice, grandparents, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude are appreciated, reflecting Kevin’s belief that no child should endure what he did.
