Kevin Derek Ball

Kevin Derek Ball, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 52.

Kevin had a natural-born way of connecting with people to form long-lasting friendships. He was most proud of his family, and they meant everything to him. He was wonderful with children and earned their trust with ease. He was at his best anytime he was spending time with a child, especially his granddaughter.

Kevin took great pride in the cars that he drove throughout his lifetime, his favorite of all being his Dodge Challenger—a perfect reflection of his style and personality. Kevin lived his life enjoying each day as it came, making the most of every experience, and believing that tomorrow is not promised.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Pamela Ball (Jacobsen) and Michael Ball; his brother, John Ball; his sister, Shannon Jones (Ball); and his daughter, Mackenzie Ball.

He is survived by his son, Logan Ball; his daughter, Lauren Ball; his brother, Michael “Todd” Ball; his sisters, Kim Baquera (Ball) and Devin Ball; and his granddaughter, Sony Vega. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved him deeply.

Kevin’s loss is profound, and it reaches far and wide. As does his memory, as it carries on. It is profound, and it reaches far and wide, remaining within each person who had the privilege to know him and to love him.
