As members of St. Paul’s, she and Zack were actively involved in the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Meals on Wheels, and the Golden Agers. They also volunteered at Friends of the Library. Kitty spent the last 6 1/2 years living with her daughter Tess in Lecompton, KS.
Both Kitty and Zack retired from their Civil Service careers while in Oklahoma City, OK, where they enjoyed travel and were very involved in the lives of their children and grandchildren.
Kitty was preceded in death by their youngest son, Fred J. (Freddie Joe) Zagaruyka. Kitty & Zack (Mom & Pops) will live on in the memories of their children; Edward V. (Ed) and wife Becky J. Zagaruyka, Theresa M. (Tess) Zagaruyka and partner James W. (Jim) Spence, James N. (Nick) and wife Jacqueline R. (Jackie) Zagaruyka, Thomas A. (Tom) and wife Vikki L.
