Jon Robert Loucks, of Mexico, Missouri, passed away on September 3, 2026, in Edmond. He was born on January 31, 1949, in Gary, Indiana.
Jon was a retired electrician who dedicated 40 years of his career to his work in Indiana. He was a man who devoted his life to the care of his family, offering them love, steady support, and thoughtful guidance. He encouraged his children in their endeavors and was a source of leadership they could rely on. Beyond his family, he also gave of himself to his community, volunteering at his church and offering meaningful help to those in need.
In his younger years, Jon was active in sports, and throughout his life he loved playing guitar. Those who knew him remembered him as kind and courteous, a presence that brought warmth and steadiness to the lives of others.
Jon is survived by his sons, Jon, Aaron and his daughter LaRayne; his brothers, Jeffery, Jeri and his sister Judith; and his grandchildren, Alexander, Angel, Eevie, and Trevor. Together, his family will carry forward the example of love, care, and service that he gave so freely.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Loucks.
Jon Robert Loucks will be remembered with love for the life he lived, the family he cherished, and the kindness he extended to his community and to all who knew him.
