Johnnie Mae Everett

Johnnie Mae Everett, 88, of Edmond, OK passed away on December 26, 2022 due to natural causes. Johnnie Mae Everett was born on October 22, 1934 to Homer and Mamie Lucas in Verden, OK. At the age of 16 she married Billy Joe Everett from Cade, OK. Johnnie and Billy Joe moved to Edmond where they went on to have four children: Cathy Corr, Randy Everett, Ricky Everett, and Roxanne Engel. She was a loving wife and mother. Johnnie was a dedicated worker at Wynns IGA as a meat wrapper. She went on to work for Edmond Public Schools in the cafeteria serving the kids which she enjoyed until she retired. After retirement Johnnie went on to cleaning houses until full retirement at the age of 76. Johnnie then spent her time reading, doing puzzles, and working in her flower garden. Nanaw loved her 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Johnnie is survived by four of her nine siblings Billy James Lucas, Robert Lucas, Sharon Crain, and Starr Shrader.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Waterloo
