Jerry David Seaton

February 28, 1948 — October 29, 2024

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Jerry David Seaton completed his life’s journey on October 29, 2024, surrounded by love in Oklahoma City. Born on February 28, 1948, to Hubert and Betty Jo Seaton at Capitol Hill Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK, Jerry led a life defined by generosity and service. With a heart full of compassion and pride, he dedicated 39 years to the Oklahoma City Police Department, rising to the rank of Master Sergeant.

Jerry found joy in simple pleasures: fishing, boating with his breakfast club and B.C. Clark friends, and riding his Harley as “Pops” alongside his beloved wife, Linda, and their many biker companions. His laughter—jovial and unmistakable—could be heard from miles away, and his playful spirit made everyone feel like family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Seaton, and is survived by his loving wife, Linda Nance; daughters Megan Wheeler, Melissa Nance, and Jennifer Nance; cherished granddaughter Harper Linn Nance-Riley; his 95-year-old mother, Betty Jo Seaton; sister Kay Delgado and her husband, Raul Delgado; brother-in-law Glen Lipinski and his wife, Joquetta Lipinski; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, November 22, at 12:00 noon in the Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 7801 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK 73132, with interment at the Risen Christ Columbarium (West Niche) directly behind the chapel. A luncheon will follow at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1100 N Sara Road, Mustang, OK 73064.

May Jerry rest in peace, forever remembered for his kindness, loyalty, and love of life.
