Jerrell Kenneth Jones

Jerrell “Jerry” Kenneth Jones passed away Surrounded by his loved ones.

Jerrell was born on September 2, 1953 to Kenneth Charles Jones and Nellie Craven Jones. Jerrell grew up in Spencer Oklahoma and graduated from Star Spencer High School. on January 9, 1973, he entered the U.S. Airforce and spent the next six years traveling around the world. He began his career as a maintenance technician and then became an aircraft mechanic. He pursued his career as a maintenance supervisor, maintenance manager and went on to become a mechanical engineer.

Jerrell is proceeded in death by his father Kenneth Jones, his brother Don C. Jones and his wife of sixteen years Maggie Ann Jones. He is survived by his sister Victoria Eagles, his mother Nellie Jones, his daughter Laura C. Jones, and stepdaughters Dannielle Dunnier and Carmen Creech.

Jerry’s hobbies included fishing bowling, golf, and visiting the casino when he felt lucky. He was known for telling funny jokes and he was a caring husband and father. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

The service for Jerrell Kenneth Jones will be held at Corbett Funeral & Cremation (807 W. Wilshire Blvd. OKC, OK 73116) at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 10, 2017.
