The world lost a very wise man, excellent with people. Would nurture, teach, protect, and limit set in such a way to bring out the best (the healthy side) in all who knew him. Worked so well with patients. Worked with Rick when he was the director of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center at Presbyterian in OKC. He was a master at gaining the trust of patients. He helped them to love themselves enough to accept who they were, appreciating the positives to overcome the negative. Always spoke well of his wife Joan and son Court. He liked driving that corvette. When he needed a hair cut he would put Dr Haircut in the schedule book. He would do funny things like that. He really cared about people. A rare breed. Could not believe when I thought about him over the holidays, and upon looking him up found he had past away to heaven. May the Lord watch over his wife, son, and other family by keeping them safe, comforting them with good memories, and the Lord’s peace.
