Frank was born in Springfield, Missouri on September 10, 1927 to Frank Sr. & Susan Gulick (Rankin).
In 1950, Frank joined the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired as a Sgt. After the Marines, he worked on aircraft as in information tech.
