Frances Lorene Bookout (Melson)

Frances Lorene Bookout, age 82, of Oklahoma City passed Thursday, July 8, 2021 from Alzheimer’s disease.  She was born August 5, 1938 in Oark, Arkansas, to the late James Francis and Hazel Lorene Melson (Hill).  She was a long-time member of the community and excelled in various Customer Service Manager positions.  She attended various church services until she moved to Brookdale Assisted Living in Shawnee, OK.  Frances was preceded in death by her husband , Willard Bookout, who passed July 24, 1978.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Bookout and husband Richard May, of Shawnee, OK.    

To honor her request, she will not have a funeral service.  After cremation, she will be buried next to her husband, in Washington, OK.
