Evelyn Darlene Zehm passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, following a brief illness. She was born on February 13, 1946, in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Lynn Gammell of Oklahoma City; her son, Robert Allen Riggs (Julie) of Piedmont; as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Evelyn was the longtime owner of Canine Clips dog grooming in Bethany, which she proudly operated for more than 25 years. She was also a dedicated breeder of Pomeranians and Pugs for many years. Fiercely independent and truly one of a kind, Evelyn will be remembered for her laughter and her cheerful “Hellooooo!” She will be deeply missed by her many friends and family, as well as by her beloved dogs, Fancy and Bella.
