March 12, 1935 – April 4, 2018
EJ Williams, of Edmond, OK, passed away at Integris Hospice House on April 4, 2018. EJ was born in Paoli, OK on March 12, 1935 to John and Emma Williams. He was the youngest of four children, and the only boy, and graduated from Paoli High School in 1954, where he was a basketball and baseball star. Shortly after graduating, he married Jeanette Williams, and they had two children, David Williams, and Renee (Williams) Elbahri. EJ had a sharp mind and a quick wit, was a jack-of-all-trades and was most proud of his service in the United States Army, serving as an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper, becoming a business owner, and his career as a construction estimator. In 1996, he married Patty (Phillips) Williams and became stepfather to Heather Reeves and Holly Kreidler. He enjoyed fishing, boating, motorcycling, boxing, spending time with his family, and playing with his dogs.
He is survived by his sister, Beatrice “Toots” (Williams) Webster, his wife Patty Williams, his son David Williams and wife Sherri; his daughter Renee Elbahri and husband Aziz; his grandson Daniel and wife Brandi, and their children, twins Ganton and Molly; granddaughter Rachel Williams; granddaughter Raelynn (Williams) Jones and husband Taylor, and their daughter, Lynden; granddaughters Hannah and Noa Elbahri; and other nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his stepdaughter Heather Reeves and husband Dale, and stepdaughter Holly Kreidler and husband Steve.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 1118 S. Sara Road, Blanchard, OK, 73010.
