Donald Ray Ward

Donald R Ward, age 76, passed away peacefully, with family, on Monday February 13, 2023. Don was born October 25, 1946, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He is survived by his daughter, Whitney Ward & her wife Desiree’. He is also survived by his son, Reagan Ward.

Don had many passions in life. His friends, family, work and the wonderful game of golf. He was a charismatic, fun loving guy looking to put a smile on the face of friends/family. He would do anything for the ones he loved.

In work, he was always looking out for his customers. He was a local insurance agent in Nacogdoches, Texas for many, many years. He knew no stranger and considered all customers a part of his family. He’d get to know their families. Be their friend. Meet him once, he’d never forget your name.

He loved the game of golf. Nothing beat a beautiful morning swinging the sticks with some friends. He’s probably playing the most beautiful course now. Hit ’em straight Don.

He will truly be missed by all.
