Clayton Charles Tilford

Clayton Charles Tilford passed away September 12, 2025, at his home in Oklahoma City.

Clayton was born January 19th, 1957 in Danbury, Connecticut. He was the youngest of four siblings, born to the Late James and Mildred Tilford.

Clayton moved to Oklahoma City with his family as a teenager. After high school, he owned and operated a shoe repair shop. He later worked in furniture sales, before finding his calling as a skilled and respected Electrician.

A dedicated husband, loving father and grandfather, Clayton was a talented guitarist and singer, and loved making music with his friends and family. He also enjoyed fishing, doing puzzles, and watching golf, NASCAR, OU Sooners football and OKC Thunder.

Clayton is survived by his loving wife Debra and their dog Peewee, his sons Justin and Eric, and his grandchildren Charlene, Xavier, Evelyn, and Ian. He is also survived by his brothers Jim and Mark, and sister Connie. He will also be missed by his step-children Tammy, Misty, and Larry, his step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
