With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Christina Irene VanWinkle of Midwest City. Known as the fighter of our family, she overcame many health obstacles for decades before joining our Lord in Heaven on July 2, 2026, at the age of 78.

Born on August 29, 1947, in Atchison, Kansas, Christina lived a life defined by love, devotion, quiet strength, and unwavering faith. She was a positive force and an example of strength within our family. Though she faced many challenges, her faith, love, and gentle spirit never wavered. Her life was a testament to perseverance, hope, and unwavering devotion to the people she loved.

Nothing brought Christina greater happiness than being surrounded by those she loved. She especially enjoyed cooking for her family, preparing meals that brought everyone together around the table. Whether it was a holiday celebration or an ordinary day, she found joy in caring for others and creating lasting memories with the people she loved most.

A lifelong lover of books, Christina was always eager to learn, imagine, and explore new worlds through reading. Her warmth, kindness, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew her. She encouraged those around her through her quiet example, unwavering faith, and enduring love for her family. Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched and in the memories her family and friends will cherish forever.

Though she is deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that she has joined our Lord in Heaven and is reunited with those who went before her. Her love, strength, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
