Cassie Terry

The world welcomed Cassie Terry, with her bigger than life personality and sense of humor, on August 4th, 1948 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the first child to Wayne and Shirley Terry, quickly deemed a jokester, the best helper with her father’s business, and never too far away from trouble. She graduated from Tulsa Rogers High School in 1966 where she went on to take some classes at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. 

Cassie dedicated her life to helping raise her family and her nursing career. Between working at Tulsa County and Rogers County’s Sheriff’s offices, nursing homes, and Veteran Affairs hospitals – she always had a funny story for every occasion. Everywhere she went, she knew what best to say to lighten the mood and help whoever was in front of her: from her nursing assistance to a word of encouragement or a joke to bring a smile to the faces of any patient or friend in need.

She is survived by her son Kevin Krumm and his wife Michelle of Altamonte Springs, Florida, her daughter Kim Castillo and her husband Benito of Yukon, Oklahoma, and six grandchildren: Lauren Barnes, Kyle Krumm, Madison Krumm, Paige Castillo, Meghan Krumm, and Julie Castillo. 

Proceeded in death by her parents Wayne and Shirley Terry as well as her younger brother Charles Terry. She was welcomed into heaven by her family on December 10, 2022. 

The celebration of life for Cassie Terry will be held on January 14th, 2023 – location pending.
