Newcastle, Oklahoma

Carla Ann Noble, born Carla Ann Petrey, passed away on October 18, 2026, in Newcastle, Oklahoma, at the age of 64. She was born on April 12, 1962, in Artesia, New Mexico, and lived a life marked by warmth, devotion, and a lively, caring spirit that made home feel fuller to everyone around her.

She graduated from Hobbs High School in New Mexico in 1980. In her professional life, Carla became a realtor in 2009, serving families in Texas and Oklahoma. She took deep pride in that work, finding meaning in helping people discover their forever homes. It was one of the accomplishments closest to her heart, alongside her work as an artist, including her painted buffalo punk.

Carla brought joy and energy into daily life. She loved playing golf, riding bicycles, and spending peaceful moments sitting on the patio, feeding the birds. One of her favorite sights was the morning flyover of geese, a simple beauty she cherished. She loved animals deeply, especially her dogs and cats, and her affection for all creatures and birds was part of the tenderness that defined her.

Family and fellowship were at the center of Carla’s life. She was the organizer of family football gatherings and birthday celebrations, known for cooking big meals and opening her home to friends and loved ones. She was a member of Council Road Baptist Church. In 2012, she was baptized in the Gulf of Mexico and had known the Lord throughout her life. Those who knew her will remember a woman whose faith, generosity, and hospitality were woven naturally into the way she cared for others.

Above all, Carla was devoted to her family. Her husband, Allen Noble, shared that she took care of him, and that she loved him with her whole heart and life; in his eyes, she was his proudest accomplishment. That love extended across her family in countless ways and will remain one of the most enduring gifts she leaves behind.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Noble; her daughter, Christa Rauh, and Christa’s family, including her husband, Axel Rauh, and children, Bo Rauh and Reese Rauh; her son Benjamin Noble and his family, including his wife, Jamie Noble, and their daughter, Evelyn Noble; her son Joseph Noble and, his wife, Gracie Noble; her sister, Lorie Herrera; and husband Tony and her nephews, Anthony and Nicholas Herrera.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Petrey, and her mother, Jo An Petrey (Turley).

Carla Ann Noble will be remembered for her lively heart, her caring nature, her steadfast faith, and the way she gathered people together with love, food, laughter, her faith is the Lord Jesus Christ.  Her memory will remain a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.
