Billie Jean Mcfeely

Billie Jean McFeely, known as “Jean” to all who knew and loved her, passed away from this earth to be with her Lord on February 24, 2017.

She was born in Maud, Oklahoma on December 13, 1928, graduated from Maud High School and spent time in Shawnee after moving there with her parents. Jean was a long time resident of Oklahoma City and also had wonderful life experiences while living in the Solomon Islands and West Palm Beach, Florida. She worked for Southwestern Bell, as a secretary for the IBEW, as a census taker for the Census Bureau, as an administrative assistant for Seacrest Property Management and as a receptionist for the YWCA Battered Women’s Shelter before she retired.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, William A. and Mabel Fay Ryan, as well as her two brothers, Charles Ryan and Gary Ryan. Billie is survived by her sister, Jan Stryjewski (Gene) of Shawnee, Oklahoma; her son Terry Hamby (Linda) of St. Petersburg, Florida; Glorida; her daughters Carol Fetgatter and Cathy Miller (Chip) of Edmond, Oklahoma and Paula Eidson (Jim) and Karen Reynolds (Ken) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Jean was a devoted wife and mother and will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

A private graveside service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
