Adron Wayne Norris was born on March 5, 1943, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, to Archie and Lois Norris. He married Karen Shreffler, and they shared almost 64 years of marriage together.
They had three sons: Kent, Randy, and Bryan (Cindy), and were blessed with 15 grandchildren—Chris, Aimee, Bryan, Amber, Hayli, Holli, Cody, April, Meagan, Trevor, Grace, Matthew, Sean, Karly, and Derek—and 10 great-grandchildren.
Adron went to school in Guthrie and later attended Tarrant County Junior College and Central State University. He was a talented machinist and worked on projects including Air Force One and Bell Helicopter while in Texas. He retired from ARINC in 2008.
He was preceded in death by his grandson Trevor, great-grandson Braiden, his parents, and his sister Lunette and her husband Alvin.
Adron loved watching his grandchildren grow up and was proud of everything they accomplished. They brought him a lot of joy. He also loved dogs, especially pugs, and leaves behind his 10-pound guard dog Tinkerbell.
He is, and will forever be, deeply missed.
